This nine-month-long challenge is a platform for bold ideas and global innovators ready to venture into new geographies, develop new products, or refine their prototypes with real-world application.

They empowered marginalized communities through waste segregation, composting, and awareness campaigns, making sustainability a shared goal.

Through youth-driven initiatives like art competitions and action campaigns, students became eco-leaders, spreading green practices across schools and homes. The trust collaborated with local municipal bodies to align community efforts with Cuttack’s waste management systems, ensuring sustainable impact.Suryodaya Charitable Trust’s work proved that transformation starts with unity.

Waste to Social Impact: A Youth-Driven Revolution :  In Giridih, Jago Foundation, driven by passionate youth, turned waste into a catalyst for change. With EarthON’s support, they empowered communities through waste segregation, composting, and environmental education, making sustainability a collective mission.Youth-led campaigns in schools and neighborhoods ignited curiosity and leadership, while home visits and community events promoted sustainable living. Jago Foundation’s journey proves that when youth lead with knowledge, communities rise for a cleaner, greener future. Waste becomes not just waste, but an opportunity for transformation.

Women-led waste management and awareness initiative promoting segregation, composting, and community education through schools and local engagement.
Location: Dhanbad, Jharkhand

Turning Waste into Wisdom in Dhanbad – Led by resilient women, Swabhimaan, with EarthON’s support, empowered communities in Dhanbad to rethink waste. Through school workshops, local women’s training, and street campaigns, they turned homes and streets into learning spaces. Children became eco-champions, and women led awareness drives on segregation and composting. Their mission was clear—build awareness, skills, and dignity.

Manthan Yuva Sansthan

Youth-led waste management and behaviour change initiative through community engagement, awareness drives, and school-based actions.
Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand

Waste to Worth: A Youth-Led Revolution Manthan Yuva Sansthan, in partnership with EarthON and Ranchi Municipal Corporation, led a vibrant waste management initiative in Ranchi. Young students became eco-leaders—driving rallies, workshops, and door-to-door awareness. Schools transformed into green hubs, while street plays and clean-up drives united communities. The project didn’t just manage waste—it reshaped mindsets. With youth energy and local support, MYS turned everyday challenges into opportunities for change, proving that when young people lead, transformation follows.
