Greenovation Agrivoltaics Challenge

Advancing Adoption & Innovation in Agrivoltaics

An EarthON Initiative, in collaboration with SwitchON Foundation

supporting farmer groups and renewable energy innovators to explore climate-resilient agriculture alongside clean energy generation.

Greenovation Agrivoltaics Challenge

Challenge Overview

The Greenovation Agrivoltaics Challenge aims to generate evidence and demonstrate how agrivoltaic technologies can potentially benefit farmers in India by advancing climate-resilient agriculture alongside clean energy generation.

Agrivoltaics—the co-location of solar panels with crop cultivation—holds the potential to improve land productivity, reduce water use, and diversify farmer income.
